About Workstreams

The Drought Resilience +10 Conference is based on 9 Workstreams, identified and developed through a series of consultations that took place at thematic events. The Workstreams reflect and group important aspects and challenges of drought management.

For each Workstream, lead organizations developed a concept note (linked in the table below), which includes three sections:

  • A look back at the past 10 years,
  • Main challenges, and
  • Potential solutions/ways forward.

During the Conference, these workstreams will be presented and discussed and the results will feed directly into the declaration of the High-level Segment of the Conference. This will help to set the agenda for integrated drought management for the years to come.

Please note that the process for providing comments to the Workstream Concept Notes is now closed. All the comments submissions are currently under consideration and will be taken into account by the lead organizations while planning the workstream session at the conference. We kindly thank you for your support and engagement in this process by providing comments to the individual workstreams.
